Hi, I'm Alin. I've been in the travel industry for 20+years and my passion has always been helping people create amazing travel experiences— from planning honeymoons, destination weddings, custom vacations, and once-in-a-lifetime adventures. A Girl's Gotta Go ↗.
My journey of exploring the world with a dog started with my chihuahua, Lady-My soul dog. For 15 years, Lady was my travel buddy, my best friend, and truly my world. I took her on every adventure possible—from dog-friendly hotels and restaurants to local events and weekend getaways. If there was a way to bring her along, I found it. While traveling with a dog was incredibly rewarding, finding the right places that genuinely welcomed pets wasn't always easy. When Lady passed away, my world fell apart. While I was grieving, two rescue Chihuahua brothers unexpectedly came into my life and it felt like fate. On April 11, 2025, I welcomed these sweet boys into my home. In many ways I felt like Lady sent them to me when I needed them most. These two boys quickly took over my home, my heart, and every adventure on my calendar, inspiring a whole new chapter of travel. That's when I realized there are so many pet parents just like me—people who don't want to leave their pups behind and want to create memories with them wherever life takes them. My mission is simple: to help pet parents discover dog-friendly destinations, hotels, restaurants, road trips, and unforgettable adventures because our dogs deserve to be part of the journey too.
A Pup's Gotta Go was created as an extension of A Girl's Gotta Go ↗ — bringing the same 20+ years of personalized travel expertise to pet parents who refuse to leave their pups behind.
